This is the photo I am thinking of using; it is of Che Guevara at the funeral for the victims of the La Coubre explosion. If I don't use this one, I might use the famous Migrant Mother photo.

 

Fantasy Appliance Final Version

 

This is my final version, and I’m really happy with how it turned out. Both swans and ice skaters appear graceful from a distance, but up close they reveal their power and potential for harm. Swans use their serrated beaks and sharp claws to defend themselves, much like the blade of an ice skate. My connection to this theme comes from volunteering every summer at a bird rescue with my dad, where I’ve cared for sick and injured birds- including six swans. In winter, when the pond freezes over, I’m reminded of their strength and resilience.
